We decided to head to the Seuss Landing section of the park, since that is where the holiday "Grinchmas" is.
First up was the High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride. Yes, that is what it is called.
There was a fairly long line, considering this is a short ride, but we decided to do it anyway. I used one of the silly mirrors for a family photo.
About 30 minutes later, our train (trolley?) finally arrived. Anyone else think they were doing a wacky version of the Mickey shape on the front?
... and through the story of the Star-bellied Sneetches...
... along with some nice views of the park.
Next up was the Cat in the Hat.
Then the Caro-Seuss-el.
And finally, One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish.
In the courtyard behind One Fish Two Fish, there was a character greeting starting right as we exited the ride, so we went back to see who was there.
Wow! I'm glad we went back there to see!
There was a sign outside the book store announcing a meet and greet with the Grinch himself. Okay, let's go see him too.
He was funny and obnoxious, just like you'd expect the Grinch to be.
We crossed over to Marvel Super Hero Island to ride Spiderman.
Can't miss Spiderman. It's one of my favorite rides at any park.
The early day was catching up to me, so I told the boys to pick one more ride and we would call it a day. They picked...
... and we got SOAKED.
Good time to call it a day. We used the GPS to search for restaurants near our hotel and wound up at Steak 'n Shake.

I love those character shots--especially with Thing One and Thing Two
ReplyDeleteI totally agree about Spider-man. One of the best rides ever! You guys stumbled on a great character meet and greet!
