Does this count as breakfast in bed?
It's breakfast. It's bed. I think it counts.
Mac decided to land by the Christmas decoration we brought from home.
Who could blame him?
Fed and dressed, we headed out to the North Bus Depot. I snapped a pic of our building on the way out.
Not too many people on the bus is a good sign for the crowd levels.
I got through the bag check line and off to the turnstiles. Wait. They don't have turnstiles anymore. You just walk up and scan your Magic Band and a finger. Off to the Mickey head globes? Something like that. Whatever.
Down the main entrance and follow the herd to Pixar Place.
It is 9:10am in this picture for the Toy Story Mania FP distribution machines...
Thank goodness we already have FP+ scheduled on our Magic Bands!
The boys always want to ride this one twice, so we sucked it up and got in the regular standby line.
The Etch-a-Sketch that actually draws things is new since the last time I was here. Gives you something to look at for the early part of the line. The last part still has Mr. Potato Head.
It took almost an hour, but we were finally able to sit down at our pull strings and play.
When we were done, our FP window was open, so we scanned our Magic Bands and got right back in the FP line.
This time I was paired with Joshua. Little snot almost beat me. I have a feeling my years of reigning supreme are coming to an end.
Next up we had FPs for Tower of Terror. The boys have never been on this one, but I thought they were ready. I knew Joshua was. I was pretty sure Daniel would handle it okay. It wasn't quite time yet, so we stopped back on the main street for some pictures.
Joshua didn't do a funny face. Boo.
Now it was time to head for ToT.
I was glad we had the FPs for this one because I didn't want anyone to have enough time to dwell on it being new and start to get scared. It was less than 5 minutes and we were stationed in front of our elevator.
Here we go!
Yeah, I'm checking on Daniel to make sure he is okay. I'm a mom. It's what I do.
Joshua loved it. Daniel was glad he did it. I figured Daniel wouldn't get much out of it this time. He is the kind of kid that enjoys things more the second or third time he does them. He prefers to know what to expect.
I figured everyone probably needed some calm down time after the "terror", so we decided to have a little snack. Snack credits!
Little is a relative term when snacking at Disney World.
There are three separate Meet and Greet areas inside. We decided to head to the back of the building and work our way forward. That meant Wreck It Ralph came first.
And Vanellope! Squeee!
Next was Sorcerer Mickey.
And last was The Incredibles.
Frozone! Squeee!
Yes, I'm easily excited.
It was almost time for our lunch reservations (our first Table Service meal this trip), so we moved back in the direction of Streets of America.

Ralph's arms are kind of freaky. Lol.
ReplyDeleteThey are! And he really didn't want you to touch him. I don't know if that was a "keep the magic alive" thing because so much of him was foam or what. Also, if you are there when they do a character shift change, he has to shuffle his feet to move. There isn't enough leg space for him to actually walk or pick up his feet at all. It was funny watching him try to get to and from the picture set area.
